Leadership for aviation managers

This course is about developing influential leadership, as leadership and communication skills are fundamental to building sustainable business relationships that lead to personal and professional success. You will learn more about the principles of creating an environment where employees are motivated and give their best at work. You will strengthen teamwork and trust, leading teams to achieve challenging goals. Our experienced trainers will explain the differences between leaders and managers and the different organisational leadership types. The course focuses on group and team activities, people management, the outstanding role of leaders in the organisation, different types of intelligence, desirable qualities for the future leader, management errors, misunderstanding in communication, and negative sides of micromanagement. You will receive many case studies, practice work, role games and exercises to build sustainable leadership competencies.

Acquired knowledge, skills and competencies by the learner after completing the training course:

  • Knowing and managing group dynamics
  • Understanding of the manager's role in and for the team
  • Aware of the difference between a manager and a leader
  • Knowledge and application of the principles of emotional intelligence
  • Building qualities of a good leader

The training is based on different training methods such as simulations, exercises, work with peers, individual work, case studies, etc., to develop a highly effective training procedure.
