Responsabilidades: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing a team of project and portfolio managers, whilst delivering and implementing major technology projects across the Qatar Airways group. They will support Development Managers to define a product roadmap, timelines and investment required for a specific product line/business unit across QR. The successful candidate will ensure that the product roadmap is developed for assigned area. They will also Project Manage all major assigned projects by ensuring that they are initiated, funded, and delivered on time and budget meeting internal client expectation, and adhere to common PMO process and governance established by QR PMO organization.  
Habilidades requeridas: STRATEGIC * Assist VP of PMO establishing the Project Portfolio Management Office.  * Assist with selection, design, and implementation of appropriate Technology Platforms in support of IT PMO. * Assist VP of PMO to create a PMO governance process. * Drive the development and continuous refinement of processes and standards across IT in line with industry best practices. * Establish mature frameworks and tools to support the IT PMO and Vendor Management Office (VMO) function across the Group. GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE * Lead, manage, and control the IT Governance structure, across specific QR LOB processes and policies including IT Risks and Issues to ensure compliance and best practice delivery of services to stakeholders. * Facilitate all IT departments in applying the processes through appropriate document templates, tools and quality assurance services. MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY * Manage the IT Program portfolio life cycle against investment and key deliverables and investment priorities with justification, in line with business needs and IT Technology investment roadmap. * Monitor, control, and report on the specific QR line of business IT work programme to the senior stakeholders. * Direct and manage the IT Secondment Resourcing function in ensuring IT resourcing needs are met in a timely fashion, meeting delivery targets with the right skills at optimal costing. * Continuously assess and report on vendor performances and provide feedback for improvement. Benchmark IT resourcing models and costs once in three years. * Direct and manage a Project support function to ensure consistency in the project management techniques. * Oversee overall project delivery of all assigned projects: Make sure projects are planned, funded, and delivered successfully and on time. Ensure that all risks and issues from individual projects are consolidated, prioritised based on risk exposure and resources focused to manage risks with highest impact on the programme. Provide timely project reporting to senior management and stakeholders. Set up a framework for expert support and review project initiation and planning of deliverables. * Define and implement a common repository of project artefacts, best practices and learning. MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP * Recruit, train, and retain talented Project Managers. * Provide an effective environment for development of skills, competencies and knowledge sharing. * Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. * Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed. * Oversee and supervise employees.  Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery. * Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place. * To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developees, preparing them for a career with boundless potential.
