Responsibilities: Train and coach the staff on Cargo revenue accounting system and Cargo sales process and billing process domain. Produce relevant documentation and continuously test the system module(s) by performing self –audits. Participates in business continuity program related to CRA. Supervise accurate billing for CASS and non-CASS agents, GSAs, postal authorities, station sales and government bodies on due dates, ensure Cargo Sales Report (CSR) is being process on time, ensure Cargo Correction advice (CCAs) for adjustment is correctly processed and accounted and monthly closing delivery supported by quality checks, EWS, cargo sales leakage dashboard and SLA delivery.
Required skills: OPERATIONAL * Test the Cargo revenue accounting system Sales module(s) standard functionalities and enhancements/upgrades introduced from time to time in order to identify faults, control lapses and get them fixed for accurate results without compromising controls. Document the pass and fail condition with monthly submission of report to MCRA and SMRA. * Train and coach the Cargo revenue accounting (continuously) and BPO staff (as and when) staff on Cargo revenue accounting system, transfer the domain knowledge, conduct continuous workshops with different scenario building and test conditions. Conduct staff tests with ratings at least once a year. * Produce SOPs / IAPs / Training material /Refreshers/ Questionnaires and other metrics and documents for easy reference and update them as and when required.  Vet the manuals and other tasks/exercises performed by third parties (internal and external). Manage any cargo sales related audit exercise including business continuity program. * Supervise and manage via BPO accurate and complete billing of all cargo documents including postal mail. Ensure accuracy and robustness of related process. Monthly closing delivery as per due dates and ensures that all schedules are up to date and balances reflected in books of accounts are true and fair. * Continuously perform documented quality checks on Sales reference masters, other charges computation masters and other reference tables. Ensure clearance of errors on daily basis and do analysis of Sales errors and correction of data source. Ensure CASS billing file is being loaded in CASS link as per timeline set by IATA, process the CSR received from GSA and stations on time and Monitor AWB exception clearances, interface status/completeness/error/accuracy of postings  into ERP * Follow self -audit program on QR and BPO /EWS delivery, publish monthly cargo sales leakage dashboard, business process improvements, close audit recommendations. * Monitor BPO agreement SLA delivery. * Communicate with BPO, Agents, GSA, Stations (with department as applicable), Internal and external parties on various job related topics and put a SOP in place with TAT and SLA so that there is no ambiguity on responsibility related to process, delivery, timelines, exceptions and escalations. *  Ensure 5 star delivery of reporting staff KPIs’ and BPO staff deliverables. * Prepare, Vet and Participate in business continuity program of cargo sales and billing process. MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP * Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. * Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed. * Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service deliver DEVELOPMENT * Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise. * Train and develop other employees, for proper succession planning and risk management. * Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program. * Other duties and responsibilities as requested by Management.
