Responsibilities: The Regional Sales Development Manager (RSDM) will represent Regional Sales in the respective region and act as a liaison between Head Office and regional sales staff to achieve the overall sales goals and develop new clients. The RSDM provides direction, assistance and leadership to the sales field staff to ensure that the regional sales strategies of the airline are successfully implemented. The RSDM will be responsible for formulating objectives, implementing strategy and driving sales performance of different segments within the assigned region by taking the lead to identify new business opportunities, maximising revenue, drive and support revenue activities and actions – such as regional promotional activities across all sales channels – across the region to ensure continuous growth. The RSDM will need to interact with Regional Sales on a regular basis to achieve the above.
Required skills: The successful candidate will ideally have: * A Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Extensive Commercial airline experience with a strong knowledge of Distribution Channels and experience in dealing across numerous sales markets * Strong people management skills * Budgetary and planning experience * Strong influencing and negotiation skills along with a systematic approach to problem solving * Strong commercial sensibility, able to presuppose basic market requirements and make quick relevant decisions * Proactive, dynamic and passionate approach to your work and the team Notes: 1.
