Aufgaben: Be an integral member of the Commercial fuel team to drive and support achievement of the team’s global objectives and targets by fulfilling tasks and responsibilities as required by the Head of Commercial Fuel; Initiate, lead and deliver IATA fuel charges campaigns in the Americas, and other regions as necessary, to achieve agreed industry targets Liaise closely with all airline fuel representatives and fuel supplier representatives  to ensure IATA leadership or influence to reach desired objectives; Contribute to the development and running of the bi-annual IATA Fuel Forum including development of content, delivery of sponsorship and attracting new members; * Be an integral member of the Commercial fuel team to drive and support achievement of the team’s global objectives and targets by fulfilling tasks and responsibilities as required by the Head of Commercial Fuel * Initiate, lead and deliver IATA fuel charges campaigns in the Americas, and other regions as necessary, to achieve agreed industry targets * Liaise closely with all airline fuel representatives and fuel supplier representatives  to ensure IATA leadership or influence to reach desired objectives * Contribute to the development and running of the bi-annual IATA Fuel Forum including development of content, delivery of sponsorship and attracting new members * Build up information, benchmarking and best practices for Americas, and in comparison to other regions,  determine opportunities and actions to deliver IATA’s member benefits * Coordinate with the Fuel Services team and the Environment team to ensure maximum benefits for members on fuel supply, reliability, efficiency and environmental performance * Support broader campaigns related to airports and their concessionaries as determined by priorities defined for the Airport Infrastructure and Fuel department. * This role is responsible for direct collaboration with the Regional APCS Directors, with a specific focus for the Americas, and with other departments within APCS as well as maintaining close interaction and collaboration with other divisions and teams in SFO, MACS, MER and FDS. Qualifications: * 10 years’ experience related to jet fuel supply and procurement or demonstrable equivalent knowledge * Excellent stakeholder contacts and credibility within the jet fuel industry, particularly in the Latin America region * University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting or Political Science, or equivalent experience * Proven airlines or aviation supplier industry experience, particularly in fields of economics, finance,  purchasing or operations * Strong negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills with positive approach to problem solving * Strong analytical and logical abilities with strong organizational skills to deal with many unrelated matters on concurrent basis * Detailed understanding on regulatory and competition matters * Demonstrated competence in management of complex, multi-faceted campaigns and initiatives * Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy to deal with people at different levels and with different communications and presentation skills * Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally, frequently and often at short notice * Be people and team oriented and demonstrate leadership and personal integrity * Fluency in English and Spanish.  ------------------------- At the heart of IATA are our Values and Behaviors.
