职责 International Air Transport Association seeks an Assistant Director, Airport Development to implement functional, cost effective, and phased modular development strategies for airport development and capacity enhancement programs. Identify and develop strategies for airport infrastructure development. Provide expert support to airlines and engage constructively with airport owners/operations and authorities to ensure airport capital expenditure is demand-driven, cost effective, prioritized, and addresses airline needs. Conduct fact finding missions to determine underlying rationale, scale, and cost of proposed airport development and capacity enhancement programs and document findings and recommendations. Support the Regional Director and Regional Vice President on airport development related matters, including broader aspects related to airside or landside operations, security, cargo, facilitation, and privatization.
必备技能 Position requires a Master’s degree in Airport Planning and Management, Airport Design, Architecture, or a related field, and 10 years of airport planning, development, and operations with airlines and airport authorities. Experience must include a minimum of: 10 years of experience with project management in the aviation industry; 5 years of experience with facilitating airport terminal development, baggage operations, and airport operational performance; 5 years of experience with implementing alliance initiatives at airports; 2 years of experience with conducting member airline compliance audits; and 1 year of experience optimizing airport processes. Travel is required up to 20% of the time to various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Job location: Miami, FL.
