职责 As a Lead Cargo Business Intelligence & Analytics Officer, you will develop data models through analytical data processing and guide business leadership to specific decision making. You will lead the team into providing solutions for internal stakeholder requirements and ensuring the MIS databases are refreshed and maintained on a timely and accurate manner.
You will guide internal departments in appropriate and effective use of data through familiarization.
Some of the key responsibilities for this role would include the below,
Enhance reporting and business insights by developing a “best-in-class” reporting function that delivers timely, meaningful business performance tools which drives measurable business values.
Guide the business intelligence officers and Analyst to develop and enhance the set of required standard reporting for Cargo Management.
Develop logical and conceptual data flows to support major departmental project requirements within the Cargo Department and Qatar Airways, ensure all relevant KPIs for the Cargo Division within Qatar Airways are available on a timely basis.
Share observations and recommendations with the Line Manager and the internal stakeholders to support their decision making based on the models and reports developed within the team.
Manage the Cargo’s repository of data effectively and ensure that high quality standards are maintained at all times.
Must be able to use consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 4 years of job related experience in Business intelligence. Experience working in the analytics department of an airline is preferred.
Proven experience driving the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team is essential in this role.
You should be proficient using advanced analytics tools such as R, SAS, SPSS.
You will need to be proficient in SQL and build dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview.
You will need to have good data analysis skills to investigate data issues in reports and dashboards to find the root cause and provide solutions. You must have the ability to think through optimal data structures for intended business purposes.
Business modelling experience, attention to detail.
