Responsibilities: Routine analysis of operational safety data Compilation of statistical reports Development of Operational Safety Dashboards Manage ad hoc requests for analysis or supply of data Assist with data collection from airlines and taxonomy mapping Investigate and produce reports for customers on specific safety issues Act as the first point of contact and maintain regular communications with a number of allocated customer accounts Write case study documents and develop Infographics based on Safety findings Liaise with the Software Development Team and Customers on the continuous improvement and development of our analytics services Develop and manage customer surveys and analysis of the received feedback Attend industry conferences and exhibitions as required. Qualifications: Relevant University qualification, preferably Bachelor of Engineering (mechanical, aeronautical or systems engineer), Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics; Two years experience in data manipulation, with experience in slight operations/safety being an asset; Flying experience, such as a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating, is desirable; Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills and the ability to work autonomously; Hand-on experience with design-thinking approach to requirements definition and prototyping tools like Adobe xD, is desirable. Excellent skills with all Office365 suite (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint on-line, etc…) Some programming experience (Python, VBA, java) an asset; Experience with business intelligence software or statistics software (SAS, R, minitab, Matlab) would be an asset; Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView is required; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of an additional language would be an asset. ------------------------- People are at the heart of everything we do at IATA. Required skills: Reporting to the Manager, Global Aviation Data Management, the incumbent will be responsible to analyze Air Safety Reports received from airlines participating in IATA's Safety Trend Evaluation, Analysis and Data Exchange System (STEADES), Ground Damage Reports in the Ground Damage Data Base and Flight Data Exchange(FDX).

Responsibilities:
Routine analysis of operational safety data

Also, in cooperation with Dr. Noel Tichy of the University of Michigan School of Business, we have successfully launched the IATA Change Leadership (ICL) and the IATA Leadership Development Programme (ILDP), which act as incubators for preparing the next generation of IATA leaders.

Additionally, the IATA Internship Programmes (IIP) allows us to attract and develop - on a worldwide basis - the best among young talents interested in joining the air transport industry.
