Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for the development and growth of QR’s global corporate, TMC and speciality sales revenue and market share. This role is responsible for leading the global accounts and sales support team and meeting / exceeding revenue targets assigned to global accounts and net yield target. This role is expected to provide direction and guidance in building corporate, TMC and specialty relationships with key decision makers and working with local and regional offices in providing best-in-class account management. Accountable for development and delivery of training for central and regional sales teams to develop core sales skills and ensure a consistent QR approach to sales. Some of the key accountabilities of the role include;   * Work with SVP Commercial Strategy to actively contribute insights from Global Account Management into the development and implementation of QR’s distribution strategy * Ensure effective monitoring of performance of accounts against budgeted expectations * Develop, manage and coordinate projects and initiatives for Global Corporate, TMC and Specialty Accounts * Develop strategies to increase ROI and gain new customers * Develop plans to implement and maintain sales professionalism standards * Establish superior relationships with key decision-makers of global accounts including senior leadership in order to develop profitable business relationships. * Oversee development of a new training programme to enhance and improve the sales capabilities of central and regional sales team * Ensure effective management of existing global agreements to maintain and maximise yield * Translate account performance objectives into departmental KPI targets * Manage and agree on marketing activities in cooperation with local QR sales team * Accountable for working with Analytics and Reporting to ensure timely and accurate creation of weekly, monthly and ad hoc forecasting and reporting as set forth by management * Ensure QR plays an active partnering role with major global accounts though corporate event sponsorships with the ultimate aim to increase QR footprint in the Corporate space * Ensure effective collaboration between Sales Support and Global Account Managers to allow Account Managers to focus on selling * Establish effective communication channels between the network offices and Head Office to ensure a two way relationship is established and maintained * Manage and improve process flows interdepartmentally within Head Office to enhance and maximise revenue generation. * Ensure all activities are within budgeted cost parameters * Oversee management of quarterly conferences to share successes and best practice across the Regions * Oversee development of sales training schedule and materials
Required skills:   QUALIFICATIONS: Essential * Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level  PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Essential * Minimum 10 years relevant experience * People management experience * Experience in corporate sales or selling airline products * Proven ability to negotiate * Budgetary and planning experience * Experience in consultative selling on a global / multinational level JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS: Essential * Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills.
