Responsabilidades: Represents the technical arm of the Flight Operations Division, with duties to enhance safety and optimize aircraft operations by providing relevant support to flight crew and flight operations personnel in terms of Takeoff, Enroute and Landing Performance, Documentation (including Minimum Equipment List), Weight and Balance, Airport Suitability Checks, Aircraft Evaluation, Testing and Acceptance of new aircraft etc., satisfying all related regulatory requirements. OPERATIONAL  * Control and monitor the revision status of all flight ops documents such as AFM (Aircraft Flight Manual), FCOM (Flight Crew Operating Procedure), QRH (Quick reference Handbook), FCTM (Flight Crew Training Manual) to ensure that all operational procedures are in accordance to each aircraft status  * Evaluate new Service bulletin (SB) from manufacturer to determine the operational impact of each aircraft modification or new system.  * Perform customer acceptance flights for new aircraft delivery and technical flights when needed for his/her fleet to make sure aircraft performance/systems are as per QTR standards.  * Prepare and validate Take-off and Landing Performance data using Performance Engineer's Programs (PEP), On-board Performance tool (OPT) or any other adequate tool.  * Perform Route Analysis and Enroute Performance studies (incl. Aircraft Performance Monitoring; Drift down and Decompression).  * Design drift down and decompression procedures and make sure they are in accordance with each aircraft type performance in order to allow safe operations.  * Monitor and update Weight and Balance data using Departure Control Systems (DCS) ie Altea DBM and/or SABLE system to make sure each aircraft has the correct and updated data.  * Participate in the validation of company navigation procedures as RNP-AR (Required Navigation Performance) and make sure they are compliant with ICAO PBN (Performance Based Navigation) concept and recommendation.  * Monitor datalink and aircraft communications to make sure all communications (Ground and on board) are well established as per the company’s standard.  * Participate in Datalink Systems and Projects and make sure that datalink is harmonized cross-fleets.  * Customise the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the FCTM (Flight Crew Training Manual) in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and QTR requirements  * Monitor and customize the technical content of flight operations documents in accordance with company’s procedures and standards and with applicable regulations.  * Customise the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) in accordance with the manufacturer Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) and applicable national and international regulations.  * Prepare the MEL approval package for each MEL revision in order to seek approval from the authority before release.  * Track all Engineering Orders (EO) for his assigned fleet and analyse their operational impact on the documentation and flight crew procedures.  * Participate in the weight surveys when needed to make sure that passengers/baggage weights used are within the standard real weights.  * Perform and check Airport Suitability Studies taking into accounts each aircraft type characteristic to allow safe operations for any new destination and perform airport technical visits when required.
Habilidades requeridas: QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Engineering in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering / Science in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: * Specialist - minimum 5 years of job-related experience required  * Flight Operations Engineering experience preferably within an airline operations environment * Attendance at the following training courses:  * Boeing Performance Engineering course * Boeing Weight & Balance training * Boeing Software / PET / OPT / Operations Training JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS: * Aircraft systems, operations and performance * Aircraft Weight and Balance * Computer literacy including light programming * Excellent IT skills * Target / Task orientated * Excellent communication skills across multiple disciplines (Maintenance, Engineering, Flight Crew etc.) * Project Management skills Notes: 1.
