职责 This role will be assisting managing all procurement requirements in a given group of product categories, comprising of goods, services and works required from the relevant stakeholders, helping to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.   
必备技能 OPERATIONAL * Assist with Category planning, analysis and management with experience of category and  procurement. * Responsible for high cost savings targets for the Qatar Airways Group. * Managing and optimizing supplier performance, and reduction in total cost of ownership. Negotiations planning and execution with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms. * Assisting in definition of supply strategy for relevant product categories to ensure risks are mitigated and Qatar Airways vision is achieved. * Responsible for planning for procurement activities together with the Senior Management. * Provides strategic analysis to assist in category strategy definition and a planned high value result for Qatar Airways. * Responsible for Tender management and administration for high value and risk projects, running process, troubleshooting and interfacing with all relevant parties. * Ensures Market research to source alternate supply sources. * Interface with  internal  user  departments,  including  senior  management,  and suppliers  on procurement projects. * Assisting in setting and achieving of Category KPls to strive to targets and provide competitive advantage. * Review and endorse documents submitted by staff for strategy, compliance and best practice. * Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Line Manager and Head of Department ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES  * Provide regular status updates to internal user departments and suppliers on procurement projects. * Develop relationships with end users, working together to optimize and leverage volumes and specifications, challenging these where required. * Ensure conformance at all times of the organisation to Procurement process, DOA and any other relevant company policies and processes. * Work closely with Contracts to ensure appropriate agreements are negotiated and in  place MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP * Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. * Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and  makes appropriate changes if needed. * Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery. * Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place. * Actively manage team and team workload, setting priorities, coaching and assisting in problem resolution. * Be accountable for decisions taken and project delivery. * Plan, delegate and monitor staff work appropriately and assist team members in problem resolution. * Seek out, propose and implement business process  improvements. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT * Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise. * Keep abreast with any market trends and developments * Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidies, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
