Responsibilities: The role will be responsible for partnering with internal subject matter experts and the leadership of BS&O to design, develop, and deliver training for GP. The capabilities Senior Specialist will also be responsible of the day to day management of GP training progress, training materials, and learning monitoring tool. He/she will work closely with L&D and HRBS staff to develop materials and tools to ensure the proper onboarding, training, and ongoing development of GP staff. Support Group Procurement in the operating model implementation program management and GP Skills development. Own and manage the implementation then optimisation of the Group Procurement Operating Model within Qatar Airways with specific responsibilities to help enhance skills and capabilities of the function.
Required skills: OPERATIONAL * Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities across Group Procurement by turning separate initiatives into a balanced and integrated change program  and execute on key transformation initiatives by changing behaviour and capabilities throughout the  Group Procurement  to deliver on its objective to become a strategic function and key business partner * Coordinate and own the Group Procurement communications plan by having a structuring activities and responsibilities, a roadmap for laying out their proper sequence and a background set of guiding principles about processes and procedures governing this change and to ensure proper flow of the messages to internal and external stakeholders so that key messages, ways of working and planned enhancements are effectively communicated and put into affects * Implement and maintain project management and change management templates and standards introduced by GP including but not limited to communication system that includes feedback loops and measurement, in-house built process with reinforced milestones tied to goals and vision. * Work closely with HRBS in defining and developing GP organisational design and definition and to identify the specific necessary skills needed to perform specific job related activities within GP and to clarify roles and responsibilities and to execute on putting these roles into place. * Work closely with HRBS to support GP staff in adoption of change including changes of processes, systems and technology, job roles and GP organization structure by developing creative ways to involve GP staff in improving performance and redesigning their work and build their skills, bringing new ways of working, developing and introducing new tools and communicating success stories. * Design, develop and support the execution of key learning and development programs required for GP skills development and leveraging/demonstrating best practices in learning in coordination with L&D which may include incorporation of elements like e-learning, classroom training, learning communities, 1:1 sessions, action learning, and/or a blended approach. * Partner with L&D representatives and subject matter experts to respond to needs for the design and delivery of training courses required for GP. * Measure progress and effectiveness of change management activities and business readiness by creating processes such as setting goals, determining gaps, understanding root causes, brainstorming and trying out solutions, monitoring results and making adjustments to identify opportunities and developing plans to close performance gaps * Creation of department KPI in coordination with GP management to support GP categories managers’ measure productivity, efficiency and cost and develop these KPIs as per the business requirements. Define and implement measurement mechanisms and KPIs in coordination with GP management to measure procurement performance and develop a comprehensive performance tracking and reporting dashboard * Develop change management plan based on business demand, challenges and implications. Implement change management strategy and method to deliver sustainable results - support managers in relation to change management plans including communications, trainings, stakeholders’ engagement and impact analysis. * Monitor GP skills development and training programme and coordinate with Learning and Development to ensure proper deployment of skills development plan and ensure that procurement professionals have required capabilities to improve productivity. Facilitate training and information sessions for local procurement personnel to ensure compliance with policies and processes. Train procurement personnel on systems upgrades and functionality. * Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department Notes: 1. Resume / CV 2.
