Responsabilidades: •In close cooperation with the Regional Vice-President, the region’s Country Managers and the Regional Leadership Team, develop and coordinate action plans on a country by country basis, to manage regional priorities and targets, ensuring both a unified regional approach and adequate country-specific coverage. These plans are to be developed annually, implemented continuously and reported quarterly; •In coordination with the relevant IATA departments, provide the Country Managers and field offices with guidance and support for the achievement of regional targets, as established in each country’s action plan; •Working closely with the Regional Vice-President and the Regional Leadership Team, gather, coordinate and ensure the flow of information between all regional department heads and the appropriate central business units, as necessary; •Organise training sessions (in multiple formats) to ensure that all Country Managers have the correct knowledge and tools necessary to deliver as per the country action plans; •Provide timely reports to the Regional Leadership Team regarding the progress of work and the achievement of set objectives; and •Any other ad-hoc tasks, as requested by the Regional Vice-President. Qualifications: •MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. •A minimum of 10 years of international senior professional experience, preferably within the aviation industry. •Proven communication skills, coupled with outstanding relationship management skills. •Proven ability to work well within large teams and to foster collaboration across functional and cultural lines. •Excellent analytical skills and a successful track record of managing multiple projects in a high-pressure, multicultural and international environment. •Fluency in English is essential; fluency or a good working knowledge of at least one other language is highly desirable. ------------------------- At the heart of IATA are our Values and Behaviors. Also, in cooperation with Dr. Noel Tichy of the University of Michigan School of Business, we have successfully launched the IATA Change Leadership (ICL) and the IATA Leadership Development Programme (ILDP), which act as incubators for preparing the next generation of IATA leaders.

Additionally, the IATA Internship Programmes (IIP) allows us to attract and develop - on a worldwide basis - the best among young talents interested in joining the air transport industry.
