Responsibilities: The role is expected to include, but not be limited to, the following aspects: • Support the Facilitation team in preparing briefing and research outputs; • Potential current research areas of interest include the political use of facilitation tools including visa requirements. * Gather the elements that States should consider when reviewing their facilitation regimes and design a template business case to transition towards the adoption of less restrictive travel authorizations (including cost of implementation traditional visa, eVisa, ETS, etc.) * Coordinate with MER division and share information to update the IATA “Aviation Competitiveness Benchmarking” study   * Coordinate with IATA’s regions, Timatic, IATA economics teams to gather data on travel authorizations requirements and economical perspectives. * Coordinate with other stakeholders such as States, ICAO, WTTC or others as relevant • Support the team in responding to requests from member airlines, internal and external stakeholders for information, data, charts and other assistance; • Assist IATA's regional teams (including the preparation of country briefing and analysis, region-based presentations and reports); • Assist with various communication & dissemination activities, across a range of channels, including some social media; and   Qualifications: Recent University Economics graduate; Outstanding written and spoken English; Interested in airline economics; A good understanding of visa requirements is an advantage; Well-developed interpersonal skills, strong team player; Excellent organizational and administrative skills; Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, without sacrificing attention to detail; Highly energetic, professional and motivated individual; Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Required skills: Reporting to Head - Facilitation , the successful candidate will provide wide-ranging research and analytical support for IATA, its airline members and key stakeholders. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of IATA strategy on “Open Borders” and provide analytical analysis to support the development of strategic advises.  The role will focus on the economic analysis of visa requirements and other facilitation tools that me support or impede the free movement of passengers across borders. The role also involves some administrative support functions, including the dissemination across various channels of regular briefing notes and presentations prepared by the Facilitation team.
