Responsibilities: As a Regional Cargo Support Officer you have to proactively investigate and coordinate business intelligence for the region and you are also responsible for analysis and monitoring of regional KPls. Monitoring and Reporting for all commercial, sales, handling and operational matters  in the region, and overseeing performance. Observing and reporting for new sales opportunities In the region, and assists In analysis for new destinations in the region.
Required skills: Operational Accountablility • Analyse quantitative and qualitative performance for all sales, handling and operational locations within the region. • Prepare regular updates for the RCM. • Establish and maintain strong working relationships within all stations in the region, with all Head office related departments,  and with other cargo and corporate functions. • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for RCM and cargo management whenever required . • Located in the QR cargo head office. The job requires interacting with all levels of staff in head-office, regional offices, GSAs and all stations in the region. • Responsible for forecasting and reporting all activities in the region to the RCM . • Assist in preparing costs and revenue budgets and all data needed for RCM . • Provide support to finance pertaining to invoicing / follow-ups to comply with finance policies and in meeting deadlines. • Facilitate coordination between IATA / CASS and cargo offices within the station / region to ensure efficiency in billing & settlement processes. • To ensure appropriate handling of CAMS violation/ Finance reconciliation queries and shipment verification. • Assist RCM to establish  regional  team  objectives and priorities and to align with and support overall QR cargo business objectives. • Regularly  assist the  RCM to  evaluate  the regional  teams'  objectives and  plans,  procedures  and practices and initiates changes if needed. • Liaise with  all QR cargo head office departments, Including customer service  issues, to ensure a high standard of service delivery in the region. • Assist in management  of budget processes and monitors to ensure budget targets are met. • Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise . • Train and develop other employees. for proper succession planning and risk management. • Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
