Náplň práce: Responsibilities as set out in the Legal Team Role Framework for the Legal Counsel position for the Legal Team skill sets:   Client Relationships, People Management, Strategic Risk  Management and Knowledge, Managing External Cousnel and Budget Performance. SUMMARY: Deliver legal services to IATA relating to all aspects of IATA's business; including, commercial matters, corporate compliance matters, human resources matters and regulatory matters as directed; Draft various instruments (contracts, leases, powers of attorney etc.) and provide legal opinions under the direction and supervision of Senior Legal Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, Deptuy General Counsel and the General Counsel; Participate in special projects; Participate in or lead training sessions on legal issues for IATA staff members; Actively contribute to team discussions; Conduct legal research; Maintain records of work in accordance with Legal team processes; Participate in continuing professional development opportunities; Instruct external counsel on IATA legal matters; Participate in formal legal team meetings, take minutes of meetings and assist in the planning of annual legal team meetings; Assist in the preparation of briefing notes, report material and other documentation (agendas, submissions etc.) for the IATA Legal Committee, related working groups and such other external or governmental fora; Contribute to the development of the Legal team's processes including the intranet site and Legal team matter management; Perform any other tasks relating to the provision of legal services as assigned. Qualifications: University degree in law,( LLB, JD) , from an internationally recognized university; Admission to practice law in a common law jurisdiction; Excellent knowledge of contract, commercial, public international and private international law principles; A minimum of 10 months experience in a legal department in an organization post LLB or JD; Highly developed capacity for legal reasoning and research, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail; Excellent organisational skills and a demonstrated capacity to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines; Superior written and oral communication skills;  Excellent command of English, with any other language an asset. ------------------------- At the heart of IATA are our Values and Behaviors. In 2006, we consolidated European regional offices into one unique hub and drove staff development from simply training to focus on a leadership & learning role.

Also, in cooperation with Dr. Noel Tichy of the University of Michigan School of Business, we have successfully launched the IATA Change Leadership (ICL) and the IATA Leadership Development Programme (ILDP), which act as incubators for preparing the next generation of IATA leaders.

Additionally, the IATA Internship Programmes (IIP) allows us to attract and develop - on a worldwide basis - the best among young talents interested in joining the air transport industry.
